Seminole Football

Hey! ...okay I will be nice. I was starting to go into a cheer we used to do in Marching Chiefs.

The photo is of my sister snapping a pic of me and me of her in the alumni band on the field with Chiefs in Bobby Bowden Doak Campbell Stadium. That was in 2002 and I still haven’t received a copy of her pic! But I may not have given her a copy of mine either. lol
My Noles play today at 3:30 against Wake Forest I believe at Wake Forest. I’m still debating whether or not i’m going to make the drive out to my folks’ place to watch the game. Living down here again has some advantages like watching the game with my mom. My sister and dad could care less. They don’t bleed Garnet & Gold like my mom and I.
What irony that I love college football so much...as an anti-man especially anti-contact sport feminist who loves FSU football! Well I must say I have a good excuse for breaking my code. After marching in a 425 member band called The World Re-known, Florida State University Marching Chiefs...and now The University College of Music proudly presents...
Back in my day...(bones creaking and joints cracking) it was the SCHOOL of Music. Also, back in my day it was just plain ol’ Doak Campbell.
Just over a month away from making the drive up with my sister and my niece as well as my parents to Tallahassee for homecoming. Rick will join us old Chiefs to represent our school once again as alumni chiefs on the field. Better yet, Rowan, my niece, will be in the stands with Grandma and Grandpa among 88,000 other screaming fans hooting and hollering and singing the fight song as well as the war chant.
Goooooooooooooooooooo Seminoles! And Marching Chiefs all the damn time! Woo!
